COVID-19 Testing & Treatment at NO COST to you!
Lowcountry Urgent Care is participating in the CARES Act! With this Act, we are able to provide COVID Testing at no cost!
Over the past several weeks we have increased our capacity to provide COVID-19 testing to anyone who wants or needs to be tested.
*Testing criteria may change over time as public health needs related to COVID-19 changes. As supplies last. Those patients under eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Seek medical attention immediately if you experience severe shortness of breath, continuous pain, or pressure in the chest or persistent fever greater than 102°F. If at any time you feel like you are having a medical emergency, please call 911.
How is it at no cost?
We are providing COVID-19 testing at no cost to our patients by participating in the CARES Act! The CARES Act Federal program only covers noninsured individuals. If you have insurance, it is required for us to bill your insurance. Since we are part of the CARES Act, the insurance provider will waive all copays or deductible so nothing comes out of pocket from you!
Insurance vs. Self Pay
Insurance: We are collecting insurance but not collecting any co-pays as testing is covered through most insurance. For more information on your insurance coverage of COVID Testing, we ask that you contact your insurance carrier directly.
Please Note: If you received a bill for your test, please contact your insurance billing department.
Self-Pay: For those who do not have insurance, the CARES Act covers testing.

Do you have to have symptoms?
No! We are testing everyone who wants to be tested (as long as we have supplies to do so)! Whether you have symptomatic or do not have symptoms, we can test you!
Patient Visit Protocol:
To be seen at any Lowcountry Urgent Care clinic, simply reserve a spot in line, and fill out the online registration. Upon arrival at the clinic, please let our team know you are there. Patients will then wait in their vehicle until our staff directs them with additional instructions. If you have any concerns or questions, please call in advance so that appropriate precautions may be taken.
What to expect after your visit:
Please self-quarantine and continue to wear a face mask until you receive your test results. You will be contacted by one of our team members with your results. We are currently experiencing a 3-5 day turn around with results!
